The ‘good sex’ project has worked with young volunteers, researchers and artists to create 15 short films about good and bad sex and young people’s early sexual experiences! First we made ‘Good sex is…? and ‘Bad sex is…? – using condoms, strawberries, toilet paper, cake icing and text messages (amongst other things) to bring survey data to life. For more information about we turned over 200 survey responses into two short films see our post on Reanimating survey data: the good sex film.
Later we made a series of short films that each tell one young person’s story of first sex. The films are based on interviews with young people and were created as part of a 3 month participatory film-making project. To read more about how the films are made you can read our post on Kat’s story: experiments in reanimating data.
Watch and enjoy and get in touch with any thoughts and comments firstname.lastname@example.org or @estermcgeeney.
All stories are performed by actors and all names have been changed.
